During the Brakus Fusion event last month, I messed up on the very final step. I had gotten all the heroes lines up (freely I might add, through painstaking amounts of hoarding and patience prior to the event as well as grinding during). Where I messed up was the ascension requirements. On the final day I realized I didn’t have enough potions to ascend the Epic heroes required (Snorting Thug, Umbral Enchantress, Defiled Sinner, and Corpse Collector), and didn’t have enough energy or gems to collect all the potions. So this time, naturally, I though for the Tormin Ascension – should I panic?
We’re now 2 days away from the end of the Tormin Fusion, and this time I planned ahead. I made myself a spreadsheet to see how many potions I needed for each required hero, so that I could plan ahead and have enough energy and gems to get them on the final day of the event (which happens to coincide with when the Void Keep will be open).
I wanted to share this with you to help you plan ahead. For example, I got the 500 energy reward in the Summon Rush II event, and I will be claiming that reward at the very last minute and then stashing it until the event is open in order to get ~42 additional attempts at the dungeon on level 15. Furthermore, I’m making sure to get all the Arcane potions I need before the final day, as the Arcane Keep is open every day. I haven’t estimated the energy requirements for each potion as the drops are quite random, but it’s something I plan to do in the future. If anyone’s seen a good guide that shows potion drop rates please let me know in the comments.
Using the sheet is simple. Just fill in the ascension rank for each hero in column H and it will compute the amount of types of potions required to complete that hero’s ascension to the level needed for the fusion. If you’ve already fused the Rares, just mark those down as rank 4 in the ascension column to indicate no potions required. The table at the bottom right then calculates the total potion requirements.
