Top 10 Champions by DEF
In Raid Shadow Legends, Defense (DEF) is one of the most important stats for your Champions. It reduces the damage they receive, and for certain skills is also used to determine damage. Because it helps with survivability, it’s particularly useful in many different areas of the game including Clan Boss. So if you’re looking for the Champions with the highest Defense, look no further. Here are the Top 10 Champions by DEF in Raid Shadow Legends.
Valkyrie is easily one of the most dominant Champion in Raid Shadow Legends. So seeing her dominate the Top 10 Champions by DEF list can only make her opponents more fearful than they already were… She starts with 1597 DEF to her name at 6 stars, Level 60. Let’s see if we can get that above 8000, shall we?
- Base (Valkyrie): 1597 Defense
- 3 Defense sets (+15% each) = 2315
- 6-star Gauntlet, Chestplate, and Boots DEF primaries (+60% each) = 5190
- Defense substats on other gear (let’s go with +25 conservatively) = 5265
- 6-star Shield primary (265) = 5530
- DEF% sub-stats on Weapon, Helmet, and Shield (+10% each, also relatively conservative) = 6009
- Tough skin (+75 DEF) and Iron Skin (+200 DEF) masteries (not generally recommended) = 6284
- Accessory secondaries (+10% on ring and banner) = 6603
- Accessory secondary on Amulet (+25) = 6628
- 6-star Ring and Amulet primaries (2x 265) = 7158
- 6-star Banner primary (398) = 7556
- +33% DEF Aura (for all Battles) from Tormin the Cold (who isn’t too shabby himself on DEF, coming in at #8 overall) = 8083!
Can you imagine a Valkyrie at 8083 DEF?? How on earth would you defeat her when she’s casting Stand Firm for counterattack and shield every 3 turns? Sadly for me, I don’t yet have a Valkyrie (except if you count getting her on the Shard Simulator…).
Of course in the simulation above, it goes without saying that I wouldn’t recommend those masteries (and they don’t add that much anyways). Furthermore, I was somewhat conservaties on secondary stats. Do you think it’s possible to get her to 10,000 DEF? What’s your Champion with the highest DEF?
