If you’ve been playing Raid for any length of time, you know that ATK-based champions are the engine behind the game’s hardest-hitting combos. Whether you’re one-shotting enemy teams in the Arena, shredding dungeon bosses before they get a second turn, or stacking damage on Clan Boss, the raw ATK stat is the foundation everything is built on.

Since Raid’s roster has grown enormously โ€” and new Mythical champions have reset expectations for what “high ATK” even means โ€” we’ve updated this list for 2026 with verified in-game stats, freshly reviewed role breakdowns, and honest notes on where each champion actually performs.

One important caveat: raw ATK alone doesn’t decide damage. Skill multipliers, Critical Rate, Critical Damage, and debuffs like Decrease DEF and Weaken all stack on top. But the ATK floor sets the ceiling โ€” and the champions on this list start from a position of serious offensive power.

โš”๏ธ

How ATK Scales

Every ATK-based skill multiplies directly off the champion’s ATK stat. Stack ATK%, Critical Rate, and Critical Damage together for maximum burst.

๐Ÿ’ฅ

Burst vs. Sustained

Some ATK champions nuke single targets in one hit; others stack poisons or hit multiple times. Both strategies lean on the same stat.

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ

Fragility Trade-off

Unlike HP or DEF champions, stacking ATK does nothing for survivability. Pair them with shields, ally protection, or healing to keep them alive.

๐Ÿ“‰

Debuff Synergy

Decrease DEF and Weaken effectively multiply your ATK champion’s damage output. Never send your nuker in without these debuffs active.

The Top 10 ATK Champions โ€” 2026 Rankings

#1
Karnage the Anarch
Mythical Attack ATK 1,960 Demonspawn
Karnage the Anarch โ€“ Mythical ATK Champion in Raid Shadow Legends

The newcomer that rewrote the ATK record book. Karnage the Anarch launched as a Mythical Demonspawn champion and immediately dethroned Bystophus โ€” who held the top spot for years โ€” with a jaw-dropping 1,960 base ATK at Level 60. No other champion in the game currently comes close.

Beyond the raw stat, Karnage brings an aggressive kit designed to exploit that enormous ATK floor. His damage potential in both Arena offense and dungeon content is matched only by his difficulty to obtain. If you’re lucky enough to have him, he belongs at the core of your hardest-hitting team.

#2
Bystophus
Legendary Attack ATK 1,795 Knights Revenant
Bystophus โ€“ Legendary ATK Champion Raid Shadow Legends

For several years, Bystophus was simply the ATK king โ€” the benchmark every damage dealer was compared against. His 1,795 base ATK is still the highest among Legendary champions and remains genuinely intimidating in any content.

The honest critique is that his skill multipliers haven’t kept pace with more recently released champions. He hits hard because his ATK floor is so high, but dedicated boss-killers with better multipliers can outperform him. Still, in the hands of a player who knows how to support their nuker, Bystophus remains a force in Arena and dungeon content.

Inithwe Bloodtwin
Legendary Attack ATK 1,729 Demonspawn
Inithwe Bloodtwin โ€“ Legendary Demonspawn ATK Champion

Inithwe Bloodtwin is a relentless Arena assassin. His 1,729 ATK combines with revive-block utility and brutal single-target multipliers to make him one of the most feared PvP champions in the game. Landing revive-block before a kill is a combination that can single-handedly swing Arena matches.

He also performs well in dungeons where focused single-target damage matters. If your current Arena offense team needs a dedicated executioner, Inithwe is worth serious consideration.

Queen Eva
Legendary Attack ATK 1,696 Dark Elves
Queen Eva โ€“ Legendary Dark Elves ATK Champion Raid

Queen Eva earns her title. At 1,696 ATK with a kit built around devastating AoE waves, she’s one of the most efficient campaign farming and dungeon wave-clearing champions available. Her ultimate ability lets her reset turns against groups of enemies, melting wave after wave before they can respond.

If you’re pushing through Dragon’s Lair or any multi-wave dungeon, Queen Eva’s combination of towering ATK and AoE output makes her exceptional. Check our Dragon’s Lair guide for team compositions that maximize her wave clear.

Ruel the Huntmaster
Legendary Attack ATK 1,696 Dark Elves
Ruel the Huntmaster โ€“ Legendary Dark Elves ATK Champion

Where most ATK champions are purely direct-damage dealers, Ruel the Huntmaster plays a more tactical game. His kit leans into poisons and traps, and his immense 1,696 ATK means those DoT effects are applied with a strength that rivals dedicated poison champions.

Against bosses who take multiple turns, Ruel’s sustained pressure through debuffs combined with his offensive stat base makes him a surprisingly enduring threat. He’s especially nasty in Faction Wars and any content where you can stack DoTs freely.

Nogdar the Headhunter
Legendary Attack ATK 1,696 Orcs
Nogdar the Headhunter โ€“ Legendary Orc ATK Champion Raid

Nogdar the Headhunter embodies the Orc berserker fantasy in the best possible way. His 1,696 ATK drives a kit built around high-risk, high-reward gamble attacks that can obliterate an enemy in one swing โ€” or occasionally misfire dramatically.

That unpredictability makes him more of a specialist pick than a consistent backbone champion. But when he lands, he lands hard. In coordinated content where you can manage the risk, Nogdar punishes opponents who underestimate him. His high DEF (1,079) is an interesting edge that keeps him alive longer than most ATK-focused legends.

Septimus
Legendary Attack ATK 1,674 Banner Lords
Septimus โ€“ Legendary Banner Lords ATK Champion Raid Shadow Legends

Septimus is the definition of a single-target specialist. His 1,674 ATK feeds directly into an extra-hit passive that fires off bonus strikes โ€” and against Clan Boss, those bonus hits compound enormously over a long fight. Teams specifically built around Septimus have set competitive Clan Boss records.

His SPD of 102 is also among the better base speeds on this list, giving him a slight edge in turn-cycling teams. If you’re working on your speed-tuned Clan Boss setup, Septimus is a natural fit.

Errol
Legendary Attack ATK 1,674 The Sacred Order
Errol โ€“ Legendary Sacred Order ATK Champion Raid

Errol is a champion with a story โ€” he sat as an underwhelming pick for years before a meaningful rework turned him into a genuine damage dealer. His 1,674 ATK now feeds into reworked skills that deliver devastating nukes that rival top-tier damage dealers in the current meta.

His HP of 16,020 is notably the highest on this list, giving him more durability than you’d expect. He’s one of the few ATK champions where you don’t have to heavily invest in survivability support โ€” he survives more naturally on his own. Check his page in our Champion Index for full skill breakdowns.

Kalvalax
Legendary Attack ATK 1,663 Knights Revenant
Kalvalax โ€“ Legendary Knights Revenant ATK Champion

Kalvalax bridges the gap between burst damage and sustained pressure. He’s best described as a poison storm bringer โ€” his 1,663 ATK doesn’t just drive direct damage, it amplifies damage-over-time effects that keep ticking long after his initial attack lands.

For players who enjoy DoT-heavy strategies, Kalvalax offers a rare combination of high raw ATK and meaningful poison utility. Against bosses with large HP pools, his sustained tickdown is often more effective than a single big nuke. His SPD of 99 and DEF of 1,068 also give him more staying power than most on this list.

Fayne
Epic Attack ATK 1,663 Skinwalkers
Fayne โ€“ Epic Skinwalkers ATK Champion Raid Shadow Legends

Here’s the surprise pick โ€” Fayne is Epic, not Legendary, yet she cracks the top 10 ATK list with 1,663 base ATK, matching Kalvalax. What makes her exceptional isn’t just the raw number though; it’s what she brings alongside it: poisons, weaken, and defense down all in a single kit.

For players building toward endgame dungeons or who need an accessible damage dealer with real boss utility, Fayne is one of the best F2P-friendly investments in the game. She holds up even in competitive accounts. Check out our Best Free Champions guide for more accessible picks at this level.

How to Build ATK Champions in 2026

Raw ATK is your foundation, but three stats sit above everything else when building these champions:

Priority Stats

PriorityStatTargetWhy It Matters
1stCritical Rate100%Guarantees every hit is a crit (unless kit already has guaranteed crits). Non-negotiable.
2ndCritical Damage200%+Multiplies every crit hit. Stack as high as gear allows after hitting 100% C.Rate.
3rdATK%As high as possibleDirectly scales all skill damage. Prefer ATK% over flat ATK in substats.
4thSpeedContent-dependentNeeded for Arena and turn-cycling builds. Less critical in Clan Boss speed-tune teams.
5thAccuracy~220 for endgameOnly needed on hybrid damage/utility champions like Fayne and Ruel.

Best Gear Sets for ATK Champions

๐Ÿ†

Merciless (9-piece)

Top PvE set in 2026. Combines high DEF-ignore with offensive stats, cooldown reduction, and a chance for extra turns on the 9-piece bonus. Aim for at least 6 pieces.

โš”๏ธ

Savage (4-piece)

15% DEF ignore, farmable from Fire Knight. Excellent for progression and budget builds. Pairs well with Stoneskin or utility sets.

๐Ÿ—ก๏ธ

Lethal (4-piece)

Crafted from Dark Fae materials. Similar DEF-ignore philosophy to Savage. A solid endgame alternative when Merciless pieces don’t cooperate.

๐Ÿ”ฎ

Cruel (4-piece)

Budget-friendly, readily accessible. Doesn’t offer DEF ignore, but provides a straight ATK bonus that’s easy to work with during mid-game progression.

Tip: For hybrid champions like Fayne and Ruel who also need Accuracy, consider mixing in Perception or Feral set pieces to hit Accuracy thresholds without sacrificing too much offensive power. The full Gear List on Inteleria has filter options to help you plan set combinations.

Team Synergy Tips

No ATK champion reaches full potential without proper team support. The biggest damage multipliers come from outside the champion itself:

Always activate Decrease DEF and Weaken before your nuker attacks. These two debuffs together can effectively double the damage hitting an enemy. On top of that, Increase ATK buffs on your damage dealer stack directly with their base ATK, pushing the stat even higher for that turn. For sustained content like Clan Boss, pair your ATK champion with a reliable shielding support to keep them alive through the boss’s hardest-hitting turns.

FAQ โ€” ATK Champions

Karnage the Anarch currently holds the record with 1,960 base ATK at Level 60. He’s the only champion to break the 1,900 threshold and is a Mythical-rarity Demonspawn champion.

Not necessarily. Raw ATK is the base, but skill multipliers, Critical Rate, Critical Damage, and debuffs like Decrease DEF and Weaken all determine final damage output. A champion with lower ATK but better skill multipliers can hit harder in practice. That’s why Bystophus at #2 can sometimes underperform against champions ranked below him in raw ATK.

Merciless (9-piece) is the strongest PvE option, offering DEF ignore alongside powerful offensive stats, cooldown reduction, and a chance for extra turns on the 9-piece bonus. Savage and Lethal are excellent 4-piece alternatives. Cruel is a solid budget option for progression players.

Yes โ€” when properly protected with shields, ally protection, and healing, ATK champions deliver exceptional sustained damage on Clan Boss. Septimus in particular excels there due to his extra-hit passive. The key is keeping them alive long enough to cycle turns, since ATK champions are typically more fragile than DEF or HP-based damage dealers.

Absolutely. Despite being Epic, Fayne brings 1,663 ATK alongside poisons, weaken, and defense down โ€” a rare combination that makes her a go-to for dungeon bosses and Clan Boss even in endgame accounts. She’s one of the most underrated champions in the game and among the best F2P-accessible damage dealers available.

This list ranks champions by their base ATK stat only โ€” the raw number from their character sheet. Actual in-battle damage rankings would look different because they factor in skill multipliers, kit mechanics, ignore-DEF properties, and team support. Champions like Ninja or Whisper may not appear here but are incredible damage dealers due to their multipliers and mechanics. Use this list as a starting point, then check each champion’s full kit before investing.

Final Thoughts

The landscape of ATK champions in Raid has shifted considerably since 2020. The arrival of Mythical champions โ€” led by Karnage the Anarch โ€” has reset what a “high ATK” stat even means, and the gap between the #1 and #10 spots on this list is now significant.

That said, raw ATK remains only part of the story. The champions who actually drive the meta in 2026 are the ones who combine strong stat floors with kits that exploit them intelligently. Errol’s rework, Fayne’s surprising utility ceiling, and Septimus’s Clan Boss synergy are all reminders that the best ATK champion for your account depends on what content you’re pushing.

Check our full Champion Index to explore stat filters, skill breakdowns, and ratings for every champion โ€” and our Team Builder tool to see how these damage dealers fit into your roster.

Stats verified June 2026. All figures reflect Level 60 fully ascended base stats.
