What Makes These Champions Great?

Tayrel – Epic Defense Champion (High Elves Faction)

Tayrel is one of the most respected epic champions in Raid. Long-time players know he’s a powerhouse because of his powerful hardcore debuffs.

Skills Overview:

• A1: Attacks 1 target twice. Each hit has a 40% chance to place a 50% decrease attack debuff (2 turns).
  • Scales with defense.
  • Best with 100% crit chance, high defense, and crit damage.
• A2: AoE attack with a 75% chance to apply a 60% decrease defense debuff (2 turns).
  • If the target is under Decrease Attack, throw a 1-turn Sleep debuff.
• A3: Single-target attack. Reduces target’s turn meter by 50%. If it hits 0, the target get a 2-turn stun.
• Aura: Increases allies’ defense by 25% in all battles.

Bottom line: Tayrel is versatile, deadly, and a must-have.

Tayrel Masteries & Gear Setup

Masteries:

• Offense: Crit Chance, Crit Damage, Warmaster
• Support: Accuracy (to ensure debuffs land)

Special Builds:

• For Arena, Doom Tower, and Faction Wars
• For Campaign, Clan Boss, and Dungeons

Gear:

• Main Set: Lifesteal + Perception
• Arena Builds: Consider Stone Skin, Kill Stroke, or Instinct
• Stats to Aim For:

Use Lifesteal for survivability and damage sustainability. Tayrel is excellent nearly everywhere — just avoid the arena unless properly geared.

Aina – Epic Attack Champion (Barbarians Faction)

Initially, she may not look impressive — but don’t feed her! Aina is a solid early-game damage dealer, especially in Faction Wars and Clan Boss battles.

Strengths:

• High single-target damage
• Great at weakening and debuffing enemies
• Works well in Doom Tower (vs. Scag and Agreth)

Weaknesses:

• No AoE attacks
• Low base defense makes her fragile

Skills Overview:

• A1: Attacks twice with a 10% chance of an extra hit
• A2: 80% chance to place a 25% weaken debuff (3 turns)
• A3: 80% chance to place a 60% decrease defense debuff (3 turns), heals 30% of damage dealt
• Aura: Boosts ally accuracy in Crypts by 40

Aina Masteries & Gear Setup

Masteries:

Same general tree as Tayrel. For early builds:

• Offense + Support (Accuracy focused)
• Consider Spirit Haste instead of Master Hexer

Blessings:

• Start with Cruelty
• Add Commanding Presence or Crushing Rend

Gear:

• Focused on PvE
• Use Lifesteal + Perception sets
• Stat goals:
  • 100% Crit Chance
  • 300 Accuracy
  • 250+ Speed
  • Max Attack and Crit Damage

She needs to be fast to survive mobs and effective at landing debuffs.
