Who Is Rector?
Let’s get to know these Champs up close. Starting with Rector – she’s a solid support Hero, perfect for Faction Wars, Dungeons, and Clan Boss fights – both bosses, by the way. Rector’s an epic champ from the Knights Revenant Faction and the strength of her hits depends on her attack.
But why the hell would you build her for attack? She’s a support – she needs to survive as long as possible. So stack her with Defense and HP first, throw in some Resistance if you can, and worry about damage later.
Why Is Rector Such a Cutie?
- A1: Single target attack. 35% chance to slap a 50% Decrease Attack debuff for 2 turns (up to 50% chance with skill tomes).
- A2: Heals the squad for 20% of her Max HP, then gives Perfect Veil to fully healed allies for 2 turns. Allies below full health get a 15% Continuous Heal buff for 1 turn. With skill tomes, the heal goes up 20% and the cooldown drops by 1 turn.
- A3: Revives an ally with 60% HP and fills their turn meter by 60%, plus gives them Perfect Veil for 3 turns. Skill tomes will strip off 2 turns from the cooldown.
- Passive: When allies under Perfect Veil or Veil take their turn, they heal for 10% of their Max HP, and Veil gives an extra 50 Resistance.
- Aura: Gives +55 Resistance to all allies in Doom Tower.
How to Build Rector
Her build is as simple as it gets – just stack HP and Defense gear.
- Masteries: Go with Support and Defense.
- In Support: Start with Steadfast, then Lay on Hands, Exalt in Death, Rapid Response, Lore of Steel, ending with Spirit Haste.
- In Defense: Grab Defiant, Rejuvenation, Improved Parry, then follow the right side up to Wisdom of Battle. From Rejuvenation head straight down to Cycle of Revenge.
- Blessings:
- Pick either Crushing Rend or Chainbreaker.
- Crushing Ren’s great for that extra defense ignore at full awakening.
- Chainbreaker boosts Speed when hit with debuffs.
Who Is Fayne?
Along with Rector, you’re also getting Fayne in this bundle. But while Rector will pop up on your account right away, her buddy Fayne won’t join your squad till you hit Level 25. You’ll have time to level up your Rector Drath.
Fayne’s a pretty straightforward epic champ from the Skinwalker faction, and she’s all about attack.
When she first dropped in the game, she was solid against the Clan Boss, but now there are quite a few better alternatives. Still, for early game, she’ll do just fine.
Fayne’s Skills Breakdown
- A1: Attacks one enemy twice. Each hit has a 35% chance of stealing 5% of their turn meter. With Skill tomes you get +25% damage and an extra 15% chance to steal.
- A2: Hits an enemy and slaps them with two 5% poison debuffs and a 50% Decrease Attack debuff for 2 turns with a 75% chance to land. Skill up to boost damage by 20%, increase debuff chances by 25%, and reduce cooldown by 1 turn.
- A3: Triple hitter.
- First hit: 75% chance to slap a 60% Decrease Defense debuff for 3 turns.
- Second hit: Same chance to drop a 25% Weaken debuff for 3 turns.
- Third hit: Heals Fayne for 4% of her Max HP for every debuff on the target.
Fayne’s Gear & Masteries
What artifact sets should you slap on her? Fayne’s basically a boss killer so stack her with Attack and Crit Damage. And since she’s tossing out Poisons, Accuracy is your friend.

- Go with Offense and Support.

- Go with Cruelty if she’s your first champ.
