It seems Plarium may be hinting at the imminent release of Raid Shadow Legends version 1.13. Here’s per their post on YouTube with the tease. If you look not-even-so-carefully, you’ll see “1.13” on Rae’s necklace. Since we’re on version 1.12.*, it seems sorta obvious (too much?).
In the post, they write about the Legendary Dark Elf Champion Rae and her visions. It describes her seeing “frozen wastes of the Winterlands” and “mysterious warriors that march through blizzards”. This perhaps suggests a new Faction is on its way. There are, of course, 3 slots in the Index waiting to be filled. Thus, it would be no surprise to see a new Faction in Raid Shadow Legends. It also mentions “skills unseen”, perhaps giving a hint that new types of skills or buffs/debuffs may be coming soon.
Aside from the hints about what might be coming, the post gives a few glimpses into Rae’s backstory. It tells of her “gift of true foresight” which came from a sacrifice that was “both spiritual and physical”. There’s no further indication of what the “spiritual” sacrifice was (unless perhaps she was previously a High Elf?). The physical sacrifice seems somewhat obvious – her right eye in exchange for an inner eye…
Meanwhile, fans of Raid Shadow Legends are calling for some re-balancing. In particular, buffing some of the weaker Legendary Champions which haunt those who summoned them (Shamrock anyone?). Plarium did suggest some of these would be coming, so hold on to your Champions (never, ever use Legos as food please…). There are plenty of other big ideas for future updates. I particularly like this list posted by a user on the Plarium forums. Let’s hope Plarium is listening and that they’ll turn in some great updates in 1.13!
