If you are looking for a detailed guide on how to beat Iron Twins in Raid, along with the best champions for this fortress, you are at the right place. The Iron Twins Fortress is one of the toughest pieces of endgame content.
It is designed for players who want to push their accounts further by awakening the champion. You can get useful rewards like Soulstones and Soul Essence in this dungeon. The mechanics of the boss are similar to those of the Demon Lord and Ice Golem. It deals more damage to your whole team and tries to beat you if you reduce its HP too quickly.
To succeed, you need more than raw power. In this guide, we will learn the right strategy and how you can farm this dungeon and unlock the full potential of your champions.

How to Beat Iron Twins
To beat the Iron Twins, you need to manage their Ironbrand debuff and adjust your team to account for the current Affinity of the Iron Twins that changes each day.
Iron Twins uses the Doomsday Machine skill to put damage on all Champions. This is based on the duration of any Ironbrand debuffs currently on them. The longer the Ironbrand debuff has remaining, the more punishment that skill will put out. Moreover, you cannot block or remove Ironband, but you can resist it. Therefore, you have to build your Champions to have high Resistance.
The other two skills, known as Ruinous Swath and Fires of Insanity, extend Ironbrand debuffs on your Champions based on their ATK or DEF. If a Champion’s ATK or DEF is high, they will receive more turns of Ironbrand from these skills.
The time works against you in this fight, so you have to bring Champions who can deal heavy damage quickly. The longer you leave the Iron Twins alive, the longer your Ironbrand debuffs will last and the higher their ATK and DEF will get. You also have to deal damage with single-hit skills. The reason is that the Iron Twins take 50% less damage from each subsequent hit of multi-hit skills.
The Iron Twins also take less damage from HP Burn debuffs. When the Iron Twins’ HP drops below a certain level, they will take out all debuffs placed on them and fire a powerful missile barrage against all Champions. You have to be prepared to deal with this retaliatory strike. You also have to be careful when applying buffs to your team. The reason behind this is that the Iron Twins will fill their Turn Meter by 10% each time one of your Champions receives a buff.
What are the skills of Iron Twins?
Voltaic Pendulums
It is the first skill that can be used to hit a single target and place a 30% Decrease Critical Rate debuff for four turns. After that initial strike, the attack spreads to all remaining enemies. Then it applies a 50% Decrease ATK debuff for four turns. If any of those enemies are already under Decrease ATK, they will also get hit with a 60% Decrease DEF for four turns. Not just that, if the Iron Twins go lower to 40% HP or more, this skill avoids Unkillable buffs entirely.
Fires of Insanity
This skill has a triple-turn cooldown and hits the entire team. It applies (or extends) Ironbrand debuffs on everyone. Its duration is based on the DEF of each champion. The one with the highest DEF gets seven turns. The next gets six, then five, and so on. If someone already has Ironbrand, it doesn’t reset, so it adds more turns. However, the Iron Twins stop using this skill once their HP falls below 40%.
Ruinous Swath
This skill works the same as the previous ones, but instead of DEF, it looks at ATK. Again, it hits all enemies and applies or extends Ironbrand. The champion with the highest ATK gets seven turns, followed by six, five, etc. Just like before, existing Ironbrand durations are extended instead of replaced.
Doomsday Machine
This is a passive skill of the Iron Twins, which starts a triple attack on all enemies. The first hit applies or extends Ironbrand based on DEF. The second hit does the same thing but uses ATK instead. After that, there is a third hit that deals increased damage, which depends on how many turns of Ironbrand each target has. This final strike also ignores 30% of the target’s DEF, which makes it more effective.
Retaliatory Launch
This skill starts at a specific HP. Every time the boss crosses a specific HP, it immediately attacks all enemies and cleanses all debuffs from itself. Moreover, every time an enemy gains a buff, the Iron Twins gain 10% Turn Meter. One exception is if they’re under a Decrease SPD debuff. Also, their Turn Meter can’t be reduced at all.
Almighty Immunity
This skill protects the Iron Twins from a long list of control effects like Stun, Freeze, Sleep, Provoke, Fear, etc. It also stops swapping or balancing HP and blocks any effects that would increase skill cooldowns.
Almighty Strength
This is another passive skill of the Iro Twins that is responsible for the limitation of how much damage the boss can take from Max HP skills. It also projects the boss against Poison strategies and reduces their effectiveness by 90%.
